Just had my sons third bday party at the Westfield Topanga mall location and it was absolutely perfect!! We've had many kids parties at many kids venues over the years... read more and this was honestly the best experience of them all. Staff went above and beyond to entertain the kids...our hired entertainer was 1 hour late and Steve the owner totally saved the day by putting on some Pokémon mascot he had in the back and playing w the kids himself. The play space is awesome and they did a zip lining activity which all the kids loved. The food was really good too especially the adults food. Overall no complaints at all everything was perfect - thank you Greg and Steve !!!
Love this place!
-They have short dance parties that the kiddos love
-Abundant seating area for parents
-Tons of items for kids to play with
-The walk from the parking area to... read more the front door is a little distant and doesn't feel safe when walking with toddlers
-Some of the toys do not work and can be fixed by changing batteries or just replacing them. (and they are not newly out of order because I have gone weeks apart and they still don't work)
-Wish there was someone tidying up the items because kids are leaving messes everywhere and other kids have to pick up items from the floor to play with them
-It would be great for parents to have seating areas in the main play area as well so that parents are not sitting on kids furniture, blocking areas of play from the kiddos
What's very surprising to me is that this place charges you for food that is brought from the outside when they don't serve food themselves. That reason alone is significant... read more enough for me not wanting to return. I have 3 kids and like to pack their lunch when I go places, otherwise they end up eating junk and it's gets very pricey.

Horrible management. Discriminates against children with disabilities. My son who has autism Cant wear socks and wasn't allowed to play. Lawsuit pending....

Staff was friendly but in light of the... read more new Covid all indoor mask policy as of Dec 2021 in LA County, there were several adults and many children (of vaccination age) who were not masked, even though there are signs posted informing patrons that they needed to be.
This place was super fun, was so happy to take my daughter here. Unfortunately my daughter and both my husband and I got horribly sick afterwards. It's clear that they... read more do not keep the place clean and up to COVID standards.
This place is a cute little play space. They had a variety of little sections and areas for the kids to play on. There isn't many kids there during school... read more hours as expected so the kids will get a little bored playing alone. Rating 4 because they had a couple arcade games and they were overly priced as well as the rock climbing wall. We paid a premium fee to enter would have expected those to be included in the price since the entry fee was on the higher end. The place is cleaned well. Liked seeing that the staff constantly cleaning the place and wiping down the areas. Overall, would go back.
I really wanted to give this place a 5-star review BUT the following two issues are why I deducted a star:
1) their staff are not the friendliest. If you have... read more a question or make a request, you feel like your bothering them (even though they're not helping anyone). One of my harmless and simple requests was if they could play the baby shark song one more time since my son missed the bubbles that accompany the song. I was told no, they only play it one time per [2-hour] session....okay...I wasn't asking them to do any them to do anything that was difficult. At our old (and sadly closed due to COVID) indoor playground that we LOVED, their staff were extremely accommodating and wouldn't have minded playing the baby shark song twice within 2 hours and to turn the bubbles back on, but whatever.
2) they raised their prices too much. I saw from pre-pandemic reviews that they charged $14-$15 per child, which was about normal for all-day open play at indoor playgrounds. Now, each child ticket is $25 and it's limited to only 2-hours of open play.
Other than those two issues, I liked the place. It seemed clean and there was a lot available for my 2-year old to play with.
Not the best experience to be honest.... Their website said they were open so we made the 30 minute drive just to find out that the place was closed for... read more a birthday party. There's was no info on their website about this closure and no signs posted outside their doors advising their closed. I tried calling 3 times to verify that they were open and available but they never answered. I didn't want to have to do this but it is the 3rd time this happens so they need to change something.

I don't know where to begin. My expectations were high for My Lil Town but they even managed to exceed that.
After not being able to throw my daughter a... read more fun party for her 2nd birthday because of Covid, I wanted her to have the best experience especially since it would also be her first time at an indoor playground..EVER! Let me just say My Lil Town was the best choice I could have made for her first time visit to a playground + to celebrate her birthday.
I hosted my daughters 3rd birthday at My Lil Town and almost a week later my guests are still talking about what a cool place this is. The staff was amazing!! They helped with setup, party coordinating, and takedown. They made sure I had everything I needed, some of the things I had forgotten about, they made sure to make it happen. They coordinated the entire party so wonderfully that all the kids got to experience all the fun they had to offer. From tattoos and makeup, fireworks show, bubbles & snow, and my daughters favorite- the dance party! She had the most incredible time & there isn't a day that goes by that I don't hear, "I want to go back to my party"!
Alyssa was our event coordinator and she was on top of it!! She answered all my questions no matter what time, or how much I bugged her - I'm so grateful for her help even the day of. Everything was clear and to the point with her. They even provided some of the coolest favors for the kids as they exit. They really go above and beyond to take care of everything from A-Z to make your event as enjoyable as possible!
I'd highly recommend MLT to anyone who is considering throwing a birthday party for their kids because I can't think of any playground as cool as MLT! The fact that my guests are still talking about it speaks volumes!
Wishing I could do that entire day all over again!
Thank you My Lil Town & Alyssa + staff for everything!!
Well, where to start, My Lil Town has a super shady parking lot, the lady who runs it is always super rude, and they have increased their prices significantly post-COVID,... read more but my daughter loves My Lil Town so much that we have been going there consistently for the last several years. We were so happy to see that it reopened post-COVID that we even bought tickets a few times with their timed system with no problems. I purchased tickets for last Saturday through the app as always, we got there and a private party was setup, when I asked about what was going on, the owner asked me what day I bought tickets for, I said today and she told me, no that's wrong, then she took my phone to show me how to use the ticket booking system. I told her that I already knew how to use the system and she told me I was wrong. When I asked for a refund, she said they don't give refunds. She said I could come back another time during the week, when I said I have a job and can only come on the weekends, she said there's no available times. She seems to have some sort of bias against parents who work.
The worst part was I didn't actually even see any children playing at this private party, only a bunch of adults walking around drinking champagne. I'm pretty sure a children's play area doesn't have a liquor license. We went to Kid's Empire in Northridge instead, I would recommend going there instead. I'm surprised a woman who hates children and their parents so much is able to still operate an indoor playground for children.
I just had my son's birthday party at the San Gabriel location and had such a wonderful experience. From checking availability to booking to preparing and setting up for the... read more party, the staff and experience at My Lil Town was beyond five stars.
It was so easy and convenient to be able to book the party online. They called me right away to go over the theme and details about the party. On the day of the party, the staff was so helpful. They truly went above and beyond to give me and my guests the best experience possible. They were fast, attentive and helpful in every way possible. Cleanup was fast and a breeze with their help.
The playground itself is huge, very clean, and a one-of-a-kind experience for the kids. They have a mini fire station, police station, school, grocery store, beauty salon, and so much more. There's a huge climbing, slide and ball pit area, an entire arcade room and a wall climbing area. The fireworks show was a huge hit and the kids were able to pick out their own toys on their way out so I didn't have to worry about favors. There's truly no place like this for the kids in LA. I had kids of all ages attend our party and every single one enjoyed their time from beginning to end, from 1 year olds up to pre teens.
Thank you to the staff at My Lil Town San Gabriel for the lovely experience for my family and guests and for providing such exceptional service. Keep up the great work!!
I want to start by saying that my kids love this place and my rating/review is solely based on their reopening and lacking COVID precautions.
After a year of being closed... read more my kids and I were so excited that this play place was reopening. I understood that there would be a price increase and assumed that would go toward extra cleaning measures. That's not the case. When we walked in for our pre-registered time slot the previous group was leaving. I should have turned around right then because it was clear that there was no cleaning between sessions of children.
Both of my kids have been sick since playing there. Coughing, runny nose, congestion.
I reached out by text (as the recording directs you to do...) and was met with a response that surprised me: "Sorry if it doesn't meet your standards, but that's the best we can do." I texted explaining that my kids were sick and that I'd like for someone to please call me. No one has called me. I'm not even sure who responded to my text - an employee, manager, owner? Regardless, I have not been called and that's disappointing.
During COVID times I know our kids are cooped up and we want to go back out and play assuming businesses are taking extra precautions. This place is clean (I'm not saying they are not clean) but they are not taking extra time for cleaning between play time-slots.
Nice place to come with your children. Unfortunately they have a lot of private parties and they turn you away since they rent the whole place out to those private... read more parties. Came to the location first time and they said check the website for parties listed. Checked website and nothing was on there got to the location the second time and second time turned away again and my kids were really sad. When you try to come to this place... make sure you have other options planned out for the kiddos.
This review is for the one in the Topanga Westfield mall. I don't know why it doesn't come up on Yelp but it's the one in the mall that was... read more previously Giggles and Hug. If I'm spending $65 for my three children to play here, I expect them to go by the county's Covid restrictions. My daughter is 3 and unvaccinated and I was told by an employee that the owner said kids only need to wear mask if 6 and above. That is not the law in this area and I will not be back. If you don't like it, cimarronea should go to Ventura county.
I'm writing this review in hopes that other parents find some clarity before booking a party. I love My Lil Town on a day to day basis but they fell... read more short for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. This might seem all over the place but I'm typing as it comes to mind.... 1) Entire booking process is done online which is very simple and effective. They give you a list of themes and towards the end you can enter a custom theme if you like. There is a lack of communication after you book the party! I had to go up there 2 times just to see the space and measure it. I chose a custom theme so it wasn't until I text them that they sent me a photo of the kids table items! 2) If you're really into party planning and paying attention to details this might not be the place for you! You're only allowed 15 mins before your party to decorate! I don't know about you but I can not decorate for a party in 15 mins. I ended up finishing decorating 30 mins into the party after guests already started to arrive. I wasn't even able to put up all the decorations due to the time constraint! 3) The meal for the kids is literally just Pizza Hut and water/juice! That's it.... You must provide food and beverages for adults but the plus side is they allow you to bring in liquor! 4) While I was able to drop off some belongings beforehand, my balloon lady told me they were rude when she dropped off the 1st garland and ask if she had permission and who was going to watch the garland. For $1800, I should be able to drop off what I want for my daughters party! 5) Included in the package seems like you're getting some kool things but you're not! The rock climbing wall was only opened for 30 mins if that! The TVs were never turned on for the entire 3 hrs! 6)The children do not receive gift bags! Thank God I brought my own! They are able to pick a gift from the wall once they leave! That is the "gift bag"! 7)Face painting = an employee that does little girls make up and hair! Unfortunately, the birthday girl didn't get hers done, only 2 girls out if the entire party got it done! 8) The lasers depicting an image on the walls was supposed to be ice cream cones! I was told the day before the party that they couldn't get ice cream cones and will display a rainbow. 9) Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful! There was 1 girls that were on her cell phone the entire time but the other ladies were truly gems! 10) Parking sucks! There's only the small parking lot in the back since you're at risk of being towed if you park anywhere else. 11) The pictures that come w/ the package, w/ all due respect are horrible . You get 5 shots of the same thing Ana barely any good pictures of the bday girl. The pictures look like they were taken by an amateur and they forget to tell you that you have to wait 3 weeks to receive the photos and video supposedly. My daughters party was on Feb 8 and I have yet to receive the video! Still waiting on the owners phone call regarding that but..... 12) No return coupon was given for the bday girl after reading other reviews I realized they don't give these out but you must return and give your child's name for free entrance... 13) A special gift for the birthday girl was supposed to be provided and it wasn't unless it's the gift from the wall that all the other kids picked from before she got to pick hers since we left last ... So honestly for $1800 + tax because I paid for an extra hr , it would've normally been $1400 + tax I believe. I just don't think it's worth it ! Now granted, I love the setup and the kids had a ball ! These are just some behind the scenes things that irritated me! I hope this review helps you all! If you're not into party planning and decorations this is the place for you! But if you're like me, I think you should look at other options. I will return to my lil town for normal play but I would not host another party at this location!
I must have gone on a bad afternoon, because it was super packed (I think a birthday party was happening). The music was too loud, there were strobing lights, and... read more I felt like I was going to have a seizure. The employees were very nice and were constantly picking up toys.

This place is definitely for todddlers not so much for kids 6 and up. The staff were like whatevers didnt seem to care or like their job either.
